Daniel Kojo is a contemporary African-German artist who was born in 1967 in Schienen/Konstanz, Germany. He studied at the Facultad de Bellas Artes in Cuencea, Spain (1990), and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, Germany (1987–1993), where he earned his MA degree in Painting and Graphic Arts. He has taught in Ghana, Germany, and Mexico. Daniel Kojo is currently in the USA from 2007–2008 on a Copeland Research Fellowship as a Visiting Artist at Amherst College, MA. His work addresses issues of hybridity and diaspora.
