There is a $85 participation fee each semester for new members ($75 for returning members). The membership fee is reduced to $65 per student if more than one family member is in the band. Outreach Honor Band Students who are taking private lessons from University of Arizona Music Professors, Graduate Music Students, or Undergraduate Music Majors will have their fee reduced to $55 per semester. Fees are due at the first rehearsal of each semester.
If there is a concern, please visit with your school band director or contact the Outreach Honor Band Coordinator, Dr. Robert Bayless. Some schools will cover the expense in part or whole through their band or booster accounts. Occasionally, past Outreach Honor Band members and/or parents contribute to families in need of assistance.
