You have been recommended by your high school band director to apply on-line for the Honor Band Weekend.

This event offers students the opportunity to join with other musicians from across the western states to perform in concert on the University campus.

Membership will be based upon your experience and playing ability. Please note that there will be a $15 participation fee, payable by check only. This is not due until registration -- please do not send any money at this time.

The University of Arizona offers you the opportunity to audition for a scholarship while you are here. Scholarship auditions will be held on the day of your arrival for all students interested in attending the University of Arizona. You do not need to be a music major to qualify. Please prepare either a solo or etude demonstrating various styles of playing. More information is available after you submit the completed form.

The Honor Band size is limited, so get your application in early! Upon receipt of your application, you will receive additional information and the final schedule. If you live outside of the Tucson area, you will be responsible for your own hotel accommodations. The UA Band Office will arrange for a hotel at a discount rate. This information will be made available to you upon acceptance into the Festival.
