Musical Play

Musical Play at the UA” is designed to assist children ages two to five and their parents in building a repertoire of songs and activities for everyday living. Developmentally appropriate songs, materials, and activities include a wide variety of topics, presentations, and interactions. Parents and children sing, move, and play through fingerplays, stories, lullabies, movement games, active listening, and instruments. The songs and activities presented contribute to the well being of children, both cognitively and emotionally. The child's acquisition of musical skills within this rich environment empower and enhance his/her personal and musical expression, as well as aid in language acquisition, and coordination development.
