Advising Information
See an Advisor
- It is recommended that Media Arts majors and minors see an advisor in person each semester.
- Advising appointments are made one day in advance, by either calling 621-7352 (talk to a person, not voice mail) or by appearing in person at Marshall 220. For a Monday appointment, call on the previous Friday.
- Appointments are taken Monday - Friday, 8:15-11:45 and 1:15-4:00.
- During priority advising periods (October and March), appointments are filled quickly, so you may wish to call early in the day to get an appointment on the following day. Check the priority advising schedule.
- Degree checks are not processed during the priority advising period.
- Faculty advisors are only available during Fall and Spring semesters when classes are in session. Faculty advisors are not available during Summer and Winter Sessions, nor during breaks in classes (Spring Break, finals, etc.)
- Email advising is neither recommended nor encouraged.
