BA - Film & Television Studies (Aesthetics & Criticism)

This major trains students in creative and scholarly analysis of the art of film and television. Through comparative study of American and international film and television, our students explore the development of genres, styles, screen narratives, and visual effects, and also examine issues of identity and representation in the modern global media context. We offer training in imaginative and critical methods pertinent to careers in film and television, as well as to graduate study.
