With funding from the College of Fine Arts and the Hanson Film Institute, the School of Media Arts brings prominent filmmakers, media professionals, and scholars to campus for lectures, screenings, and workshops.

Visiting professionals such as producers, casting agents, entertainment lawyers, distributors, financiers, and screenwriters offer insiders’ views about the media arts industries. Media arts scholars provide perspectives on the historical, social, and cultural significance of television and film.
