NOW: Daivd DePuydt

David DePuydt is pursuing a career in commercial art, studio art, and art education. He is presently earning his BFA in Art Education, with an emphasis in Photography. He is involved in several personal and collaborative projects.

His latest comic strip, Die, Nerd, Die!, appears monthly in Loyola Maryland’s Warnings literature magazine and bi-monthly in the local, independent comic book, Sequentially Tucson. DePuydt is also the co-creator and co-creative director of IndieOnly Comics, a local comic book publisher whose titles include Sequentially Tucson, among several others.

 IndieOnly Comics will be featured guests at the annual Phoenix Cactus Con in late January 2008. DePuydt’s illustrations have also recently appeared in Ken Wright's Zombies Ate My
Girlfriend and Stole My Coffee, as well as in David Baker and Eric Esquivel's
Childish Delusions of Grandeur and Superiority. DePuydt is the recipient of the 2007-08 Albert M. Halderman Scholarship.
