Treistman Center for New Media
The award-winning Peter Treistman Center for New Media, managed by Fine Arts Technology, is the software and new media development and support "hub" for the College of Fine Arts. The Center, established in 1993 and named for the late Media Arts Professor Peter Treistman, is headquartered in the Music Building, Room 137, in the Fine Arts Complex. It contains 1,200 square feet of reconfigurable space for faculty and administrative projects, training and presentation. A professional administrative and production staff is on hand to assist. Many of the critical functions of the College are supported by Treistman-built software applications including On-line Admissions, On-line Professional Activities Log, the ePortfolio, the Scholarship Portal and Small Grants Applications.
Also located in the Center, the College of Fine Arts Webmaster designs, builds, and maintains the College web site serving tens of thousands of visitors and regular users.

Referrals
Often faculty need help outside the scope of formal projects and this can be accomplished through referral to other services, resources and expertise, including University resources and Fine Arts Technology Technical Services or Network Services which are concerned with the Internet, software, equipment, "smart" classrooms and the technology infrastructure of the College. Services and consultation are usually scheduled although emergency problems are certainly accommodated.
