Dance / Arizona Jazz Dance Showcase

Outreach to schools and community. A two to three-day jazz dance conference offering dance classes to various forms of jazz dance, tap, ballet and modern taught by UA faculty and guest artists. Open to all jazz dancers ages 12 through adult. Each year the conference features a special jazz dance guest artist. Registration includes a faculty concert, invitational concerts, classes, master class with guest artists and scholarships.

Dance / Ballet Arts Summer Intensive

Outreach to schools and community. In cooperation with Ballet Tucson, A four-week summer intensive offering dance study in ballet, modern, jazz and flamenco. Approximately 300 students, ages 8 to 18, study with some of the UA dance faculty as well as guest artists. Enrollment is open to students in Arizona and Mexico. Tuition for the four-week session, which concludes in performances by the students, averages about $300.
