Rehearsal space is available for UNIVERSITY projects only. Students can request guaranteed rehearsal space from the scheduler, Sheryl Millerwho assigns space weekly. Forms are available on the bulletin board in room 124 or in the main office. They are due on the Friday at least two weeks in advance, that is, between 14 and 20 days in advance of the requested time. The hierarchy for space requisitions is: 1. Faculty 2. Graduate students 3. Senior projects 4. Undergraduate students in choreography 5. Other undergraduate needs.
Space may be scheduled for the duration of the semester, but please be aware that any technical rehearsals and/or performances will take precedence over your rehearsal. Every effort will be made to inform you in advance if your rehearsal must be moved to a different time or space.
If you have requested an ongoing rehearsal time which you will not need during a specific week, please inform the scheduler so that space can be made available to others.
Once the schedule has been posted (on the bulletin board in room 124), any student or faculty member may reserve any free spaces by writing her or his name and phone number in the space desired. For any questions related to scheduling, please leave a note in the scheduler's mailbox in the dance office.
