Dancers' Consort

Dancers' Consortium (Consort) is a  University of Arizona student service organization open to all students at the University.   The club has sponsored workshops on such topics as eating disorders, dance injury prevention, nutritiion and held improvisation sessions.   Community service includes participating with the School of Dance in project volunteer to sponsor needy families for the holidays.  Members join walkathons which focus on awareness, fighting or curing pervasive diseases such as AIDS, Cancer, Diabetes, Lupus and Arthritis.  Dancers' Consort members are integral players in the School of Dance annual fundraiser, the Arizona Jazz Dance Showcase held every fall semester.  Members are involved in the many tasks necessary to make the showcase a success.  At the same time the club has the opportunity to raise money for their members, used to sponsor workshops, master classes, concerts, social events and parties.  Membership is available to all University of Arizona students.
