Cuneo teaches Italian and Northern Renaissance Art. In addition to other articles and essays, she is also the author ofArt and Politics in Early Modern German: Jorg Breu the Elder and the Fashioning of Political Identity, 1998, and has edited Artful Armies, Beautiful Battles: Art and Warfare in Early Modern Europe, 2002. Her research interests include social and political functions of 15th and 16th century art, and early modern hippology.
