Facilities + Resources

From our 3D ceramics and sculpture facilities to our Visual Communication division’s letterpress and digital print studio, facilities unique to each discipline are available for student use. We offer well-equipped classrooms, workshops, studio and office spaces that make the School of Art an extensive and vibrant place to study and grow.

Our galleries and UA museums offer unique exhibitions and collections of original art by students, faculty, and nationally and internationally renowned artists.

The Center for Creative Photography and the Visual Resource Center play an important role in the education of our Art and Visual Culture Education, Art History, and Studio Art students.

A valuable resource for all students, faculty, and staff is the Visiting Artists and Scholars Series. These artists and scholars bring their own unique influences to the school through engaging lectures, exhibitions, discussion groups, workshops, and residency projects.

The newest addition to the School of Art is our Visual Arts Graduate Research Laboratory. Facilities include private studios, a wood fabrication shop, a metal fabrication shop, digitally equipped classrooms, and graduate/alumni gallery.
