In addition to passing the BFA candidacy review, you must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher to be in the Art and Visual Culture Education program. Art and Visual Culture Education graduates are grounded in understanding, appreciation, and performance in studio art, art history, criticism, and aesthetics. Undergraduates are prepared to teach art in classrooms from kindergarten to twelfth grade, while graduate students are prepared to use these disciplines to pursue higher education in post-secondary teaching situations and other community institutions.
